James holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Executive Coaching and is a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation. He has completed over 20,000 hours of one-to-one coaching, working with leaders across industries, cultures and levels of seniority.
He coaches at both London Business School and Stanford Graduate School of Business, working in Executive Education and on the Executive MBA programme.
James has coached and consulted globally with organisations including Meta, Google, Amazon, Salesforce, Accenture, Novartis, USAF, Mubadala, GSK, EY, Lego, Hugging Face and American Express.
Through this experience, James consistently saw the same pattern: the single biggest factor influencing an individual’s performance and leadership impact was the strength of their emotional intelligence.
